  • Little Audrey

A while back I took some photo's of a Melbourne landmark - "Little Audrey", of Skipping Girl Vinegar fame.
I would like to get this image printed & framed to hang in our kitchen/dining area. I'm having trouble deciding which image looks better, some honest C&C would be much appreciated.

The original image, pretty much from the camera with some clarity and highlight adjustments. No crop.

Straightened and cropped got remove scaffolding at the bottom of the picture. People have commented that there's not enough "space" around Audrey & Vinegar.

Added 10% to the canvas and filled with black to give more room.

This is purely subjective. I like the original. To me it feels like she is going to fall backwards when you straighten the text. But it is your wall and picture so it's whatever you prefer.

You don't think that it's too messy at the bottom Hans?

I don't. I would tone it down in the highlights down there but the red underline is a plus in my humble opinion. (Note I am not often humble)

As Hans says, it's purely subjective but I think just straightening the original would have sufficed. I'm a bit of a stickler for things being straight but that's just me and I've taken a few on the chin for being so pedantic but that's a part of life I can endure with a grin

This was a difficult shoot, quite a steep angle looking up and other buildings in the frame.

The middle one for me, the straight writing appeals to my sense of neatness.
