  • Cattle on the move at sunset

    G'day everybody

I'm on a cattle station in lower central Queensland - about 180km west of Springsure, and 140 of that 180km is 'dodgy dirt & washouts and bulldust hollows'
However, I was invited to go out for some relocating of cattle and I managed some very golden sunset images. While the station hands all went "Oh that's fabulous" meaning the sunset colours, I would like your feedback as to how these strike you

    1- coming thru the gate

    2- starting to settle in

    3- amongst all the dust

4- it's all over and they're settling in

All via the Panny FZ200, lens from 200mm to 500mm [film camera equiv]; 1/1600s x F5 for into the sun shots; ISO-100
    As always feedback welcome
    Phil

"Phew" - at last it's posted ....it took me over 25 attempts to login and keep the site 'open' long enough before I could get this posted

Great bit of light and subject matter to play with there Phil. They all have a great feel to them which tells the story. I like the first one which I think could do with a little cropping to better capture the three amigos! I'd like to have a little edit at the last one if that's ok.. it has some special elements in my eyes.

All great shots Phil, love the sun shining through the red dust. Makes me thirsty just looking at them.

Love these Phil, especially #2, #3 and #4. But I reckon they need working in Photoshop or Lightroom.

I had a play in Lightroom. But there are more possibilities to explore.

My indecision is final, I think.
