Entries into my camera club's next month competition

G'day everyone

Next month's comp is "backlight" and as in all comps, we are allowed a max of 6 entries, 3- mono and 3- colour
[white strip at top is for print-mounting purposes]
Here's my 3- mono for your comments & feedback .... score /10 welcomed

1- Smoke gets in your eyes ...

Panny G2; 14-140 @ 60mm; 1/160s x f5,0; ISO-200; lighting by snooted flashgun high at 2-o'clock position, fired by slave & trigger

2- Leaf fronds

Panny FZ-200; 1/200s x f4,0; EV -0,3; 24x / 600mm [film camera equiv]; ISO-100

3- Seed pods [you saw this in colour a week or so ago]

Panny FZ-200; 1/800s x f4,0; EV -1,3; 24x zoom / 600mm [film camera equiv]; ISO-100

1 and 3 my favorites with just a little adjustment or two. Think the smoky one just needs balancing up in the frame and 3 needs to lose that lower most leaf. All good, just prefer those two for their simplicity.
