The nursery rhyme talks about 'an old gum tree' but one wasn't available

G'day all

Kookaburras and gum trees - but today it's more likely to be power lines in many places
These two - probably a him 'n her pair - have perched on this bit of power line each sundown recently, cackling away merrily - so I shot the buggers !!

You may not have had such a neutral background if they were on a branch. Works well for me Phil.

I think it would look good on canvas. To me it looks very dark and I would give it a shadows correction. But a lovely capture.
