Very popular photo subject Ross. I don't mind the background but you could probably brush in little bit of blue sky colour at the top just to give it a bit of colour and maybe in the water too.

Interesting subject, I've never seen it before. Agree with Isaac though re colour.

Conditions not very friendly that day obviously. The image is obviously fairly blown out. I guess you will have to go back another day Ross. When/If you go back maybe try another angle so the wreck isn't so centered.

I don't mind it at all and think that it's a perfect image for a bit of mono treatment. See what you think?

I'd colour it as a painting and put it on canvas. Isn't this fun?

And then I'd frame it and hang it on the wall.

is a good subject. worth visiting after sunset too. get the nice colours in the sky to make it worth while. can light paint the ship too if you are that way inclined. at the end of the day photography is about light. I have an after sunset shot from that spot. you really can get amazing colour there. not posting it here cos I dont want to hijack the thread. the western wall of the wharf there also offers up some amazing light after sunset. you are looking away from the setting sun, but sometimes is where you need to be
