  • Which do you like more ... the close up or the full image?

    G'day all

I'm playing with close-ups / macro stuff again and I am dancing between each of these 2 images

I like the whole 'eye' but does the partial eye make it or lose it?

    1) 'traditional' view of the peacock feather

    2) the macro / close up bit

    Eagerly awaiting your thoughts
    Phil

Think the partial eye misses the mark for me. Even the feather stalk showing the rays but not any part of the eye would appeal to me more. I do like the full eye though.

    Maybe something like this?

Another for #1. #2 doesn't seem to have a point of interest.

#1 Phil. I have a few peacock feathers and they are a great subject for some arty stuff. keep at it. Now I've seen these I might get creative again - perhaps.

No1 also does it for me. Though Gregs variation on No2, does improve it some.
              Cheers, Brad.
