A sunset image, silhouette from a slightly different point of view than 'normal'

I have placed the central stuff between the power lines - but does it work?
It is also undercooked by 1-stop to enphasise the silhouette

The poles are a fact of life and one of my pet hates BUT they are there for all to see. They provide a good frame. The silhouette is great and the sun is exposed nicely to give it a real sharp edge. Leave it as it is and put it on the wall.

I am a bit of a fan of underexposing for beautiful sunsets, really shows off those rich colours.
The power poles...in this image I think they add to it. Firstly, they are straight which suits the architectural style, they lead into the sun and can help tell a story, as already seen by Greg.
Also love the bird line up.
The minimal but contrasting colour palette helps highlight these aspects and even though it's silhouetted has a nice sense of depth.

A most interesting and creative approach. You have really handled the composition in a very masterly(? can't think of a better word. Not sure if this one exists. It should if it doesn't!) and impressive way.

Sorry for being slow to respond Phil. My PC crashed and I had to reinstall, which took longer that expected due to other commitments. I've been super busy at Kaarakin lately. It's all back working now, so I can slowly get back to normal. Being a Mod, I get every post as an email and while I was offline, they just kept coming. I don't mind that but over 300 to have a look at.
