  • The ferocious guard dog

    G'day all

    On a recent walk around Armidale I was bailed up by this ferocious guard dog and some 'companion' animals

    Exif = Fuji X-s1; 1/200s x f5,0; EV +0,3; 220mm [ff equiv]; iso-800

    What a clever Ironman Welder he is to make a viscious guard dog that keeps out photographers.

    Just looking closer, how cool are those companions .. made out of shovels .. genius!!!

      Missed seeing this ferocious animal whilst in Armidale recently. Now it is in the pick it to pieces section so - it seems to need straightening - the horizontal could be on a slope but the verticals are all crooked also. I would have preferred a closer look at those creative constructions rather than include all of the background which has made it too busy for me. No wonder that dog was keen on attacking you - you chopped his feet off.

        What the image does for me is immediately make me feel comfortable about using this guy if I need some welding done.

        The 'animals' show creativity and the messy yard is something I like to see. Yes, you read that correctly, I'm not into neat and a scatterbrain approach to life is something I can identify with. A hint of eccentricity is worth it's weight in gold in my eyes.

        The sloping yard adds to the eccentricity element as does the rock under the trailer wheel and the wonky looking shed.

        Love it as is. Thanks for sharing.

          Is this down near the Caravan Park Phil? ....... and is the emu still there? ....... Meant to get a photo of the collection, but never did.

          If it's the same one I think it is Gabby, it is on the main drag out of town towards Ebor ..... but easy enough to miss

                  You'd have to something about the weather!

                  And I'd need to get some anti freeze - for me , not the car!:excited:
