Glyn, some things that catch my eye:
The lens convergence effect at the bottom, a bit too much for me, particularly the drooping right side window.
The centalising of the front door in the composition bothers me. If it were mine I would try a different crop, maybe on the left to the outside of the roof edge. then the lovely leafless tree RHS which adds so much to the feel, would be featured more.
Depending on the feel of the image that you are creating here, for me it is a dark foreboding feel, I would have made the house face darker by lowering the exposure. I wouldn't lower the highlights as this would reduce the drama of the clouds. After lowering the exposure you might even have to increase the highlights, to retain this sky effect.
Just some thoughts, Cheers, Pete.

Glad I came and had a look at both your interesting image and Pete's reflections.
Before I read Pete's comments I was thinking that I like the brick work and feel of the image, the processing seems to have smoothed the image but left the important features (brickwork, tree and windows) featured. Not liking the bright unnatural looking clouds though in the top middle, the vignette seems to have disappeared top centre..

Thanks for the constructive comments. I've tried everything to get rid of the distortion, but nothing seems to work and I agree the clouds are a bit overpowering.Canon 30D Sigma 17-70 Canon 75-300. PSE11, DXO Optics Pro 7, Nik Viveza 2, Silver Efex Pro 2, Color Efex Pro 4, Dfine 2, Sharpener Pro 3
