Hey, good shot here.
The top part looks good, the rhs is ok.
Maybe a liitle could be cropped off the lhs. Maybe up to where the tree branches start.
The bottom edge looks like it is cut off a little bit. It's always a good idea not to put important things too close to the edge of a picture. The left end of that bottom horizontal piece of wood looks too close to the edge.
This is just my opinion. Other people will perhaps give you different suggestions.Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

Looks pretty good to me too - and you have repetition and geometric covered as well
(You have found a good mentor in Charles)
You may care to have a look at the links below for a few more ideas.
Good luck - (how's the weather at the coast? Hope to be coming down again next week)

The roof shot is interesting. I feel that a shot like this is better if it's really symetrical. Others may disagree.
Her, I had a quick play. Don't know if it's an improvement. Just food for thought.

Charles Yes I agree I could not get into the right spot because it was roped off so I just learned over the best I could one of my rules never jump the fence so to speak but I can't do any PP on it at only cropping and resizing is all that is allowed but I will go back when I come back and see if I can find somebody to gain permission even if they watch me as its inside a church so here's hoping they will let me jump the rope but thanks againAll Experts at anything were once beginners
