  • After the Rain

On a little log bridge near Merimbula a few days ago.

With camera phones getting so good now, wondering if we still need a Forum for Phone Photos? Seems these could easily go into 'Macro'...

    Beautiful. Well spotted and captured.

I've never understood the reason for the phone forum from day one to be honest. Recently updated to a Galaxy8 and it's something else.

Thanks Mick. My phone is my camera of choice now - well, not for birds and telephotos

I've recently inherited Elizabeth's old iPhone - or as she calls it, my new phone - and I can't see the point of lugging a camera around anymore either.

These shots confirm that. Just beautiful.

I can't see the point of a Phone Photo forum either. Someone should do something about it. But then I'd like to dump about half of the forums. However, some people seem to feel that the more forums there are the more posts there will be.

Don't get me started. Can of worms slowly opening.

My indecision is final, I think.

My beef is with ‘Nature’ covering everything domestic. I don’t have a problem with any of the others. They do give a few options and help to prevent posts from getting ‘buried’ under single headings.

That iPhone does a hell of a good job with you at the helm.

Good stuff Alan. #2 by far. I do think there's still room for DSLR cameras but I also think they will become a dinosaur in the future (not in my time though - I hope).

Did you use any external lighting?

Outstanding Alan. Nothing more to add. Just enjoying looking at these.
