I also like the zig zag line from the distant pine tree (triangle), through the poodles, and then out of frame to the right, thanks to the small wave.
Having the white poodle in the middle also helps, along with a nice distance between the three, all with eye contact.
Did someone mention timing

You got it Mick - possibly an even harder photo to achieve than freezing them in full flight? but it doesn't make for an 'exciting' image.
Jo touched on it when she described how she achieved her bird photo over in the Challenge. Sometimes the 'timing' is in capturing that fleeting moment of 'stillness' between bouts of feverish activity.
Or like waiting for ages for the sun to fleetingly shine through some clouds and make the landscape glow, only to have it disappear a fraction of a second later.
I didn't elaborate on that aspect of timing when posting some examples - doh
