Not counting the camera lens or tripod (as I had these anyway) .. the cost was around £350

Great looking setup Paul, I love the use of the hi-tech rubber band.
A lot dearer than $350 down under if this is your piece of kit. Not really sooking, but us Ozzies get hammered on price when buying camera gear.
I would love to have something like this, but living in the suburbs it would never get used.
