Yep; you sort of need to be north of the border and the further north you go the better it is.

I cannot believe the rubbish weeds in the third photo. We use to call it wild turnip; terrible stuff.

The wild electrical thunderstorms are one of the great features of a northern lifestyle so I can understand why you would miss them Rob.

Love the first image, looks like the lightning has punched a hole in the cloud, wow!

Thanks everyone. Yep the storms in NSW are nothing like Qld. Used to get that involved I wouldn't see the others creeping around behind me & the "WHACK" - Time to head for cover (lol)
