Cheers mate. I watched it rise from the horizon and it was very large and bright.

Hi A&B. When moon shooting start with the Luney-11 rule. f:11, ISO same as Shutter Speed. eg: f:11, ISO=400, Shutter 1/400th / f:11, ISO=800, Shutter 1/800th. Also make sure your White Balance is set to "Daylight" or "Cloudy" to capture the colour. Always shoot RAW so the white balance can be corrected. Use SPOT or Centre Weighted metering mode too. Happy moon shooting!

What editing software do you use?

Thanks Isac. I don't do a lot of editing but for simple adjustments I use Faststone. If I feel like getting more adventurous I use Affinity or Capture One.

Capture One and Affinity both have White Balance adjustments so it would ber easy to correct it to get the true colours.

Very nice Isac. Excellent colour and framing. Nice touch how the foreground light echoes the shape and colour of the moon.

Not sure about OOF branches on left and sharp on right.

Thanks Alan. Branches were really close on left so I guess that is the focus issue, not sure.
