    2. 1/2s f/5.6 ISO 800. I turned the brightness up a bit here. The shorter exposure has given better colour. It didn't look this bright.

Thanks Stephen. It was a last minute effort because I almost forgot about it. Since posting these, I reprocessed them using daylight white balance and that gave more consistent colour and exposure.

    G'day Alan

Another beaut result, good sharpness (way better than my efforts too)

Thanks Phil. These are much better than my previous efforts so I'm quite pleased with them.

Well done! Were these hand-held or on a tripod? I tried a few hand-held shots before the clouds came over, which I still have to download and process. But I don't think that they'll be anywhere near as good as yours.

Thanks. These were on a tripod. I can normally take photos of the moon handheld, but the fully shaded moon is too dark. I was using shutter speeds of a half second to two seconds for these.

Excellent results Alan and well presented. I was hoping to get some shots off, but cloud cover put a halt to that.

Thanks John. I thought we were going to have overcast too but it mostly cleared late afternoon.

Excellent shots Alan. the 1 second works for these. Lovely colours. We had too much cloud for this one so I'll have to wait for the next lot.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
