  • Milky Way across the bottom

Even on a 4 day drive across from Sydney to Perth there's time to sneak in some astro.

Nice work Todd. Hard to pick a favourite, but maybe the last one by a whisker. Though I do like the torch beam for something a bit different.
    Cheers, Brad.

Thanks Brad. I think #3 is my fav too. It's the only one with pretty much no light pollution (just a touch from the campfire behind me).

#3 for me Todd. All good though. It sure is a fascinating sight and it just shows how small we really are in the large scheme of things.

            Thanks Guys.

John it was with Sony A7rii with 16-35mm f2.8. Settings were f2.8, iso 3200, shutter 15s.

The torch i flicked on for a fraction of a second.

No worries. Oh also a 10 second timer so I could run to my chair.

All good Toddy but I think the last is the best. I find the foreground lights in the others are a bit overpowering. The torch beam is a nice touch

Thanks Arthur. Practice and patience as well as getting away from cities are the key.
