Well done Allen. Lightning is not something I can ever capture worthwhile -
Thank you Mick. I think I got the settings right, but a lot of luck involved here in capturing the bolts at the right time and place in frame.
Most of the lightning was sheet, but I somehow managed to capture the only three forked strikes that night. Though not the most photogenic, the horizontal strike is something I can't recall seeing before.

Super shots there Alan. As an avid lightning tog, I think you've done well to get the sheets. Your exif data indicates that you had everything set up perfectly to get the shots, about what I use. Maybe MickT would like to get some info for setting up these types of shots. This guy tells it pretty much as you have set your up. Mark David.I Shoot A Canon
