Last night was the first relatively clear night for awhile, so I tried to find Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2.
I couldn't see anything. It is very faint and the moon was rising, brightening the sky. I should have used binocs.
Some of the brighter stars include Sirius, Betelguese, Bellatrix, Alderban, Procyon and Rigel, which is the one above the three stars in a line..
Lovejoy is supposed to be to the left of Rigel. Maybe tonight, but the clouds are returning.
