  • Experimental Light

    While waiting out in the middle of Lake George to catch a glimpse of Comet ISON from 3:30am until dawn, I thought I'd make use of the cloud-waiting.

    I've seen many photographers try this with different compositions, gadgets and techniques, so I thought I'd have a crack at a few of my own.

    Here's six of 'em, but if you want to see the rest, I have them all in my own gallery.

    Look pretty cool. I like the orb in #1 which looks like strings of beads. Did you manage to see the comet with all that cloud cover? I've been waiting to get back and try more star shots at our local lake but have been getting clear skies around the full moon and overcast with no moon - Murphy's law I guess.
