  • More lightpainting at the convict ruins

Jenne and I had some great fun with lightpainting as you could see from her photos in this forum. Here are some more from the night to compliment hers. Cheers, Pete

I'm glad you put these in Pete, showing what else we got up to that night, there were 5 of us altogether, one bringing along their grandkid's Jedi sabre toy which changed colours and was a really inspired choice giving us plenty of different effects. Over to the east we noticed the sheet lightning in the clouds over Eaglehawk Neck which was appearing about each 30 seconds so this really added to our "light painting". We don't get sheet lightning down here very often so that was speshul. Kind of miss that after all I saw when living in Qld, makes me wish I had the skills with my camera back then, but Pete got a lovely lit cloud as above.

Looks like a great night was had by all. Must try and organise a group to try this some time. Like the lightning shot. I remember when we lived in Brisbane getting up one night and it was like someone was turning a light on and off from night to day, the sheet lightning was that bright.

The lighning in the cloud works well.
