Ha ha ha...yes it was, can't believe I didn't see that yesterday. Sunsets/sunrises really appeal to me. The added advantage of the bird droping in as well
What if there were no Hypothetical questions?
CC always welcomed, feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time - Thanks.

I must have missed this too. I think it's a beautiful shot and you've managed the exposure of the sun really well. I baulk at getting up early for a dawn shot in winter in Queensland can only imagine how cold it is to do this in Tassie.

I'd like to know how you've corrected the dip in the horizon. I was aware of the lens distortion but didn't know what to do about it. (If anything).
However I appreciate your contribution but think you've cropped too much from the foreground as I quite like that wave break on the shore giving that separation between land and sea.
I note that in the topic "sunsets and sunrises" Alan has posted a beautiful image which also features a dip in the horizon. I dont find it too much of a problem and of course distortion seems quite acceptable in other wide angle applications.
To me it doesn't look too out of place and leads the eye to the light source.
Perhaps a topic for further discussion in another thread.Last edited by seaslug; 13-06-2013, 08:18 PM.
