Full moon tonight

Really like the second shot with the orange reflection on the lower leaves. I think the halo around the moon spoils the first a little for me.

I think the more subdued colouring on the second shot has more appeal.
not 100 percent sure what bothers me in the first. perhaps the ring around the moon but think the overall brightness is the issue for me.

Thanks, PP and Stephen. The halo caused by the light cloud was what attracted me to the scene in the first place - I thought it gave scene some colour/interest and allowed the leaves to become more visible against what would have been a blacker sky.

Without it I think it would've just be another full moon shot, but yes, possibly a reduction in brightness may make it look more natural, as the light cloud did seem to add brightness

Thanks. As I say, I combined two shots. One focused on the moon 1/250 f/6.7 640 ISO. And the second focused on the branches
1/60 f/6.7 640 ISO. D7000 x1.7TC (500mm)
