Thanks for your very kind comments Alan! But I can take no credit for growing these wonderful little plants.
Auriculas are apparently a cross betwee two European alpine primulas. They arrived in England in the late 16 cent where they remained popular with plants-people up to the present day. Being alpine plants, they are a challenge to grow in the "Heat Wave Capital" of Australia, Adelaide, although the hills where we are is a bit cooler.
Elizabeth obtained her original stock from a grower in Tasmania.Charles
