  • Calla Lily

Last year my neighbour gave me a pot full of Calla lilies. Devastatingly my neighbour died last year (week before his 33rd birthday and they still don't have a cause of death) so these are extra special to me now. I tried Photographing the spike tonight and I'm quite pleased with the result. It is on auto (again) but this time shot in RAW. Click image for larger version

Condolences for the loss of your neighbour/friend. the lily is well photographed, just needs a bit of PP to make it pop.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Good edit to make it pop. You could go further by adding a bit of saturation and sharpen. A bit of cleanup on the edges as well just to remove some imperfections.
