Some backyard wildlife from this morning

I found an insect while picking beans, so went and picked up the camera had had a wander around. This is more insects and spiders than I've seen for quite a while.

3 A small snail crawling across a compost bin lid. Not quite enough dof for the shell.


4. Lynx spider with an ant


5. A Huntsman, I think.

Great collection Alan do you use a tripod while scavenging in your yard?

Thanks Hans. No tripod for these - all handheld with flash. I have used a tripod with stationary subjects but find handheld with the flash works well, although it takes a few shots to get a couple in focus.
