      Thanks Phil,I enjoy trying different things with my macro gear,very much trial and error but as time goes by I`m learning more and more.

      After many attempts to catch one in flight,I`m happy with the result,as always, I will now try to improve on this effort and will post the new and improved images as they arrive.

      I think your image is great. I just thought in post it needed the background dulled down a bit. I'll post what I mean below.

      Putting that in the to hard basket for a while,need to try and learn the basics first.

      Layers and masks ARE a part of the basics. The starting point would be to get familiar with the available tools by experimenting, mainly cropping, lighting adjustments, making selections and colour manipulation. After that it's just practice and asking yourself what you want to do to improve or change an image. Plenty of online tutorials to get your started. Have fun.
