Bit windy the whole flower would disappear as the wind blew it out of the frame.

Discovered that I obviously run my figer along the multifunction bar and upped the iso to 20000 yes 20K I was wondering why it was so grainy and thought at first it was pollen. Whilst disappointed at first I am amazed at what I have.
Now wondering how good it would have been with a sensible setting? I thought it was on auto and set the aperture to 7.1 to get a bit of dof.
Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.

Beautiful colours Hans and the images look quite arty. Maybe have another go with better settings?I Shoot A Canon

wow - what a happy accident there. The images look great to me.
late afternoon is a really great time for bees especially as the sun is starting to set and when it's cooler. Bees are less active in the cooler weather so you may get lucky with some slower movements and time to get some additional photos.

I will keep that in mind Linda. Not to many about at the moment though i still have loads of flowers and still have tomatoes ripening despite having had a mild frost. I have even learned that I can lock the iso adjustment with a button. Life goes on.
