    Brilliant shot Kevin. I think you PP is creating a bit of halo so might be good to address that. Very good colours and sharpness.

            100% better Kevin. Sharpening creates halos around areas of contrast Light areas get lighter, dark areas get darker and the size of the halo depends on the "radius" setting of the sharpening effect. It happens more between the sky and darker horizons in landscapes, or in your case where the spider is contrasted with the sky. Normally, what I do for such images is put the sharpening on a new layer in Photoshop and mask out the offending edges. There are plenty of tutorials online for removing halos - maybe worth a look, although you've got this one done OK.
