I agree with Ironwood, great POV and framing. I'm interested to know what PP you're giving these images Kevin, any clues?

I'm sure you will advance your skills in time Kevin and don't forget, we're always here to help. What monitor do you have?

I don't know what screen is on your laptop but if it's a TN (twisted nematic) then nowadays you can easily connect an IPS panel (in-plane switching) to your laptop at a low cost, some as low as $150. Much more accurate colours for photo work.

I must have missed this one when it was first posted. What an absolute cracker of a shot you have there Kevin. I can just imagine him giving orders to the troops to "go get that dead bug over there".

Not wanting to denigrate anyone's photographic or PP skills but I have always thought that being at the right place at the right time is 90% of a great photo. Maybe overstating it, but you know what I mean.

My PP skills are extremely limited so I try to get it right in camera first.
