Garden Orb Spider

One night when I couldn't sleep I shined my torch out to the trees and seen the spider.
Its not the biggest one we have had here but it was good to see one back again.
I am not sure if these can hurt you but you do need to get close to them much to the wifes horror.

My wife freaks out when I do that just for the shot.
