  • No sunset so muck around

Gave the camera a charge and a clean yesterday hoping to sneak out for some sunset photography. An overcast day ruined that so while standing in the yard hoping it would clear I took this. Freshly cut grass.

I really like the B/W Todd. Do I see an ant in there?
I think you need to get the blades sharpened on the Victa, really ragged edges there

Thanks John. I didn't see an ant...

I was thinking that. Not exactly a clean cut is it.

It's funny the things togs notice in a photo that the general public tend to miss.

Well that's a different photo you posted Todd and your lawn looks nice and green. I did a similar thing a long time ago and noticed a ladybird climbing all the way to the top of a freshly cut strand of buffalo lawn. I only noticed it by its bright colour so I also took a close up. Turned out rather well I thought. Maybe you could revisit the lawn and I'm sure you'll find a heap of insects running around with looks of terror on their little faces wondering what the hell it was that destroyed their families and their tiny little houses.

I just remembered the shot is on my website in the ANIMALS gallery.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
