  • Death comes to as all

Thought i had better post something otherwise you may think that I have deserted you all . the truth be known I find Summer inspirational, where I live it is very very dry hardly any colour in the hills, even in my garden there's been nothing to shoot so when I found this dead Moth/Butterfly just had to get the sigma macro on the camera.
Its not the best of shots. I believe that the dark shadow lifts the insect away from the background ( your thoughts please)

Good to have you still posting Bill.. for a minute there with that heading I thought something drastic happened!

Think the background is a bit bright and overbearing, the shadow doesn't bother me as it sort of fits the subject in hand.. At least the little bugger couldn't fly away on you!

Yes Butterflies don't have a very big life span unfortunately.

Indeed, there's a certain quietude in the reality of an old husk ...
