Nice shot, worth running a Noise Reduction program on this.

Beautiful bokeh. I think the bee could do with some extra selective sharpening but great composition.

Certainly getting in close. I've tried Macro a few times a very rarely get these results...if they are sitting still or glued to the spot I have a slim chance, I have to work on my patience and skills.


I hope you don't mind but I've had a quick play using a 'High Pass Filter' to bring out little more detail, if it causes a problem I'll remove it.

The bee looks quite ok in my view with the eye and head nice and crisp. The forground flowers being soft and noisy does take a little away from the overall image. Quite like the background!

Much better. Key is the eye is in focus, and good use of fill flash. Other apsects will emerge as you work it.
