  • Australian Leafcutter Bee

    These are rare now where I am. The local council saw fit to bulldoze the area which contained their nesting sites, for regenerative reasons; to regenerate the local flora by killing everything else.

    What can you say, typical of a political/partial solution to a 'perceived' problem where the only problem is in the eye (or behaviour) of the perceiver.

          Thanks for comments all. They are wonderful creatures. This one was looking for a roost at dusk and here is about to take flight to another possibility before it gets too dark.
