As you know I use the Pentax K20D which has the anti shake built into the camera so all my shots are by hand not using a tripod. I use a Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro usually set at F13 and my shutter speed is set at 250 ps and ISO works out at 400. A steady hand is the secret and I hold the button halfway down so the camera beeps when I'm fully in focus. It just takes practice and you seem to be traveling along nicely.
