I had my 400mm lens on my camera when I saw this guy flying around so I decided to take a few photo's to see how they would come out

I reckon it's come out very nice indeed Tania - I've never been able to get a decent shot of one myself.

Just awesome really. Did you use tubes or just bare lens?

Just the lens Scotty. He was sitting quite still so I switched to live view (the camera was on a tripod) then zoomed in and manually focused.
