          That's a lot of luck there

            It's not clover Hans, so wouldn't bother with pickling any. It looks like Marsilea quadrifolia which looks like the 4 leaf clover. In some places it has been used as food for more than 3000 years. The plant is said to be anti-inflammatory, diuretic, depurative, febrifuge and refrigerant. It is also used to treat snakebite and applied to abscesses. Not any mention of bringing luck, although if it treats snakebite you could call it a lucky plant.
