I like the grassy bits in the fg as it then seems to give it that 'in the wild' air rather then a bland pic of the insect on a stalk or whatever
ps- I also like a fella who enjoys using a 'big-bertha' for closeup stuff

I like the composition, POV and the grass for framing. Lovely shot of a hard to get dragonfly. I think this one is a Blue Dasher but not certain.

It eould be easier, I agree Kevin. I have the Siggy Bigma 150-500 and it's gathering dust after I started using my Tamron 18-400.

Very nice Kevin. Excellent sharpness, colour and detail with good background separation. I agree that the foreground grass works well.
