  • Someone has been busy

    Took a walk through one of our parks today, I haven't been there for years and sadly found it a bit boring for a photography walk. I did find a few things though, it looks like someone has been really busy carving these fallen trees.

    Those carvings look really neat. Nice shots.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

      I imagine that seeing a potential photo is something you grow into as well, I would see many more things normally than my wife which I attribute to taking pictures for about seventy years. You could make the statue in #4 the centre of interest and find a time when It may look more dramatic and from a lower angle. Hope that makes sense in relation to your comment.

        They look wonderful. Great to have them in your park I agree with Hans about angles. I still like #4 though, with the carving as the starting point for our eyes to wander along the meandering pathway.
