  • Blooms from a golden She-Oak


    G'day all

    The she-oaks in the valley are all flowering at the moment, and the bright golden colours of the blooms can be see from near and far

    Beautiful shot Phil.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

      Very colourful Phil. Silky Oak I think, they are all flowering spectacularly around here too at the moment.

        G'day Phil. Alan has it right. It's a Grevillea Robusta "Silky Oak" and they are fabulous when in full bloom, just as you photo shows.
