  • Galah G'day

    G'day all

This aussie galah and its mate were in a local tree - and watching me carefully as I / the camera approached below
They are one of many birds that mate for life

    exif- Panny FZ-300; 1/500s x F4,0; ISO-100; lens at 24x zoom / 600mm FFequiv

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Good pose and framing Phil. amd well done to get the crest up. I think it could be improved by brightening the head a little.

Excellent shot. I second Alan's suggestion.
      Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

They are a lovely looking Aussie bird Phil. Good detail and I agree, just a bit of dodging on the right side of the head and body.
