    #3 is the best of these. Good background shows the bee details best. I'm noticing that the colours in your images seems to be a bit over saturated which you can adjust in your camera settings. You have 6 different Picture Control settings: Standard (SD), Neutral (NT), Vivid (VI), Portrait (PT), Landscape (LS) and Flat (FL). Try Neutral and Portrait for more natural colours.

        All a bit small Chris. #3 is the best as it is large enough to see the bee is sharp. #4 is definitely out of focus.

        I agree with Isac about the picture control. You can always add contrast and saturation to a jpeg but you can't remove it.
