  • Morning Walk Through the Woods and Meadows

Decided to try something a little different this morning. All of these image are SOOC JPEGs using various JPEG "recipes" mimicking either a specific film or just a specific look. Quite nice to be able to have your images "pre-edited" when you take them.

    1) Woodland scene with a Kodachrome 25 recipe.

    2) Another woodland scene using a more vibrant Velvia based recipe.

    3) Morning Glory with the same Velvia based recipe.

    6) Used a natural looking Eterna based recipe for this tree shot.

All great shots David. I find it difficult these days to see the differences that the film look in camera settings produce, mainly because of powerful editing software - but I do like the velvia results. I think from memory, velvia film was used more by landscape photographers because it boosted saturation. #2 for me.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

No2 for me as well. Nice lighting and unusual vegitation. (for us in oz)
Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.
