  • Bees

    Testing out my new glasses and I came across these bees.I love bees, so fluffy. The second one doesn't look very sharp to me but I can't see the monitor screen very well lol Click image for larger version

    Bumble bees? Saw quite a few in Europe. They are a friendly and good looking insect. Not sure what to say about all the dead flowers. Maybe crop the image some?
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

      The bees look sharp to me at this size although in #2 I think the focus is slightly behind the eye. Might be worth a closer crop and brightening shadows a bit to show more detail in the bees in #2 and #3.

        Beaut to see you back into shooting mode !
        .... and yes, the bees look okay to me (and the fellas above) but it's a pity that the flowers were not in full bloom

        Hey what a thort ... pick up a few bees and place them into a newly formed flower and try again, thus keeping the fellas happy

          They do look OK but like Alan said, they could do with some shadows lift. #3 is well camouflaged in those flowers.
