Thanks for the comments. This young snake must have been at least 2 feet long. It was sleeping under one of our Reptile Habitats. We have several around our Local Nature Trail, There were also several Slow Worms under these habitat sheets, So I was standing over this sheet, lifting it towards me.......

I have no liking for snakes but do find them looking atractive. Saw a black mamba in Africa move at an incredible speed throwing itself off the road as we approached in a vehicle.
