        Thanks guys, it reminded me slightly of my youth

        Isac, I was just playing about with curves to see how they affected an image and by over doing the adjustment ended up with this.

          Faststone is great. That's my go-to for viewing and culling and quick edits. Instant viewing full screen and just flick though the lot - keeping the goodies and deleting the rest. With the Hot Key "E" I can shoot them straight into Photoshop if I want more heavier editing.

          Thanks MJ224. As I said earlier it was pure chance. I don't do a lot of editing but was playing with curves just to see what effect they had, and ended up with this.

          The original is much more boring.
