G'day all
Doubles and triples - it's a wonder what comes along to startle us
On our meandering motorhoming around the countryside, we often come across roadside fruit & vege stalls, offering all sorts of goodies. Sometimes it's the local CWA hall with its arts & crafts offerings, but this time it was a farmer offering eggs
The farmer was selling eggs from a large egg-producer "up the road a bit" and at $5/dozen it seemed to be good value to us
A small sign said that "these eggs have been rejected by the supermarket industry because they are too large". The sign mentioned that we should expect some to be double-yolkers, but we didn't expect a triple-yolker which is what we got along with a double-yolker !

ps- the dozen eggs weighed in at 1180gramms
Great brekky = a rasher of bacon + a cuppa
