  • Bearded Dragon sunning in an old tree

    G'day all

I found this fella sunning him/her-self in an old tree. s/he was well aware of my movements around the tree, though via the long lens, I didn't need to get too close for these shots

    1)-

    exif- Panny FZ-300; 1/250s sx F4,0; ISO-100; lens at 500mm FFequiv

2)- different position, a bit more zoom ... s/he still has an eye on my location!

    exif- Panny FZ-300; 1/800s sx F4,0; ISO-100; lens at 550mm FFequiv

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Not something I would see here in suburbia. Well photographed and framed with great detail. Do you prefer your 300 to the 2500?

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Hi Isac ... the FZ-300 is my walk-around camera and the FZ-2500 gets used for 'serious' stuff. Each has the same JPG presets for images so there's no difference there. The -300 has a tad more zoom, plus the F2,8 constant-aperture lens is well used on low-light + theatre stuff. I did a theatre job a month or so back (yet to post any pics but 'should') - so when they arrive you can comment a bit more
