My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

The grubs getting into them give them lots of character. They do add some nice colour to a landscape. Good to see.
Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.

I have heard of them, they have lots of bright colours on them (deglupta). Never seen them, I can't afford such travels, so I'll have to be content with the backyard variety

That is pretty interesting. Might be a good subject for some abstract macro.
Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Cheers David. I don't recall doing any abstract macro but I'll have a look at it.

Nice colour and texture in the first one Isac, but it looks a little dark on my screen. A small boost to brightness and contrast might give it a lift.
